I'm Luke Broglio. I'm a student at Iowa State University studying Software Engineering with a minor in Cybersecurity. I grew up in the Twin Cities, Minnesota, where I fell in love with programming at a young age. I spent many of my middle and high school summers learning to make games with Python, Unity Engine, and Unreal.
I'm experienced in a variety of programming languages including C, C++, C#, Python, Java, Kotlin, HTML/CSS, Javascript. With some of my personal favorites being C++ and C#. I also have experience developing web applications with the Springboot framework, using Gradle to build Java and Kotlin applications including writing extensions and plugins for Gradle, using Git for version control, and graphics programming including writing shader code in GLSL and HLSL.
For the past two summers and part time last school year I worked as a Software Development Intern at National Information Solutions Cooperative where I gained experience working in software development professionally. At NISC I contributed to Springboot and Angular applications and also became familiar with using Atlassian tools such as Bitbucket, Jira, Confluence, and Bamboo as well as JFrog Artifactory and Xray.
When not studying or working on programming projects, I like to keep up with new technological developments, get involved on campus, spend time with friends, and read Science Fiction novels.
